Hello, and welcome to my portfolio! I took the liberty of designing and writing this website myself using HTML and CSS. My name is Matthew Shoemaker, and I am currently an undergraduate at The Ohio State University studying Computer Science and Engineering. Let's have a look at a few reasons as to why I'd be an invaluable asset to your team:

Most importantly, my field of study and my passion is Computer Science (and math, hence the CSE major). I thrive on solving problems and I love what I do just as much as I love a good challenge. My absolute favorite activity is acquiring new skills and sharpening old ones. I've always got a side-project (or 3) going on to keep me on my toes. I'll alway be learning a new programming language or practicing the ones i know and I am always on the lookout for my next project.
